Using existing physical metrics gathered by the client, Upland was engaged to develop and implement a productivity measurement process to meet service level agreement requirements and provide better management decision-making capabilities.

The Solution:
Upland applied regression analysis and other statistical techniques to the physical metrics associated with software development projects. This provided the client with an innovative, unique and cost-effective way to accurately measure their software development productivity. The software development projects included in the productivity measurements represent a total budget exceeding $50 million. Upland has used the results of the statistical analysis to create and apply unique methods to measure and report software development productivity for multiple business units.
